Presentation of the A Siege project by István Kovács, expands this year's selection of KVIFF Talents.
In addition to three projects from the Feature Pool section and three from the Creative Pool, this year's KVIFF Talents presentation will also feature A Siege by director István Kovács – a feature-length adaptation of his short film of the same name, for which he won a Student Oscar in 2018.
The project was selected as one of the two best treatments in the program Cine-Collegium Budapest, the Hungarian equivalent of KVIFF Talents. This initiative was launched under the auspices of the Budapest International Film Festival and aims to support independent Hungarian cinema through community funding – without relying on state subsidies.
