NIKŎ, a European obsessed with K-pop, spent years in Korea as an idol trainee. He underwent facial surgery, learnt the language, and adopted Korean mannerisms and hierarchy. But his debut never materialized.  

NIKŎ has grown old in a system that does not tolerate ageing. Upon returning to Europe, he founds the first K-pop idol academy in Berlin to continue his Korean dream, this time as a mentor. Twenty young men hailing from various parts of Europe enter a world where their own rules cease to apply. European individuality clashes with Asian discipline. Relationships are forbidden. Emotions are a weakness. Identity is an obstacle.  

Each of them wants their own K-Dream. The question is, how much of themselves is each one willing to sacrifice? 

Adam Sedlák, Adam Mišík, Monika Soukup, Linda Krejčí

Adam Sedlák is a Czech director with a distinctive style. His debut film Domestik (KVIFF) garnered him the Best New Director Award at Sitges. He shot BANGER. on an iPhone and won the Czech Film Critics’ Award for Best Director. His series Addicts was created to promote drug awareness. Forbes 30 under 30 List.

Adam Mišík is a Czech singer and actor. He’s gained success through his music and expressive film roles. He was nominated for a Czech Lion for the film BANGER. and is one of the most distinctive figures of young Czech pop culture.

Monika Soukup is an executive producer and head of advertising at Milk & Honey Film. She manages international film and advertising production in Europe. 

Linda Krejčí is an executive producer at Milk & Honey Film and an alumna of NYU Tisch. She brings together international production and new technologies.
